AGES 6-17

Children's Program

Our children's program builds a strong foundation in Kathak technique while fostering creativity, discipline, and cultural awareness. Young students develop physical coordination, rhythmic intelligence, and expressive confidence through age-appropriate curriculum.

Fundamental footwork patterns and rhythmic variations

Understanding rhythmic cycles (Teentaal, Jhaptaal, etc.)

Certification Track (Optional)

Students may choose to pursue formal certification through Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal examinations (Praveshika → Madhyama → Visharad). This structured pathway provides measurable milestones, recognized credentials, and preparation for advanced study or teaching.

Adult Program

Our adult program offers the same authentic Kathak training with teaching methods adapted to support mature learners. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to dance after years away, or seeking to deepen existing skills, this program meets you where you are.

Certification or Enrichment: Your Choice

Adult students may pursue GMM certification if they wish to build formal credentials, or they may learn purely for personal enrichment. Both paths receive the same quality of instruction and performance opportunities.

Classes are held at our partner studio in Exchange Place, Jersey City, offering convenient access via PATH train and major highways for students throughout the tri-state area.

Classes conducted in partnership with Shehnaaz Dance Academy, a well-established dance institution serving the Jersey City community.
